Two Men’s Lacrosse Games to Air on CBS Sports Network this Spring
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – A pair of Lehigh men’s lacrosse games will air on CBS Sports Network this spring, as announced by the Patriot League on Tuesday. The Mountain Hawks’ game vs. Bucknell on Sunday, Apr. 10 – along with their regular season finale at Loyola on Friday, Apr. 29 – can be seen on the national network. Those two games are part of the Patriot League’s spring schedule on CBS Sports Network, which also include the men’s semifinals and championship game and women’s title contest.
Lehigh and Bucknell, which has developed into a strong rivalry, will meet on Sunday, Apr. 10 at 1 p.m. at the Ulrich Sports Complex. After the Bison had won two straight (in 2018 and 2019), the Mountain Hawks responded in 2021 with a pair of victories – 18-6 on the road and 18-12 at home.
Lehigh will close the regular season at Loyola on Friday, Apr. 29 at 6 p.m. in a matchup of two Patriot League finalists from 2021. The teams were supposed to meet in the Patriot League Championship Game, but a positive COVID-19 test in Loyola’s tier 1 personnel forced the cancellation of the game. Last regular season, the Mountain Hawks topped the Greyhounds, 10-6, for their first-ever win over Loyola, as Lehigh finished last season as the No. 1 seed. The Mountain Hawks finished the regular season 8-0 in the Patriot League before beating Colgate in the semifinals.
