Host Rob Stone asked the red horde of fans the leading question, “Anybody out there want Urban Meyer (1) to be their head coach?” They responded in kind, roaring and chanting the Fox Sports analyst and three-time national champion’s name. 1. I assume most of you reading this know what a “Friday news dump” is. For those of you who don’t know: A “Friday news dump” is when a company, person, etc., drops significant news late in the afternoon on a Friday so that it won’t get as much coverage as it would if it came out earlier in the week while everybody was still at their computers. Fox pulled off a truly comical “Friday news dump” last week when it very quietly mentioned the disgraced Urban Meyer will be back on its college football pregame show this season. Spring is going to bring new life to the woodlands at Turkey Mountain, but that’s not the only thing that will emerge as warmer months arrive. The Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness trail system is undergoing an upgrade, and some of the new trails are already open. The River Parks Authority, working with Progressive Trail Designs to implement the Turkey Mountain Master Plan, has already opened 2 miles of new trails.
