    Outdoor sports drive tourism revenue in Pulaski County during pandemic

    PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ/SPEDA) – Despite a two-month economic shutdown, numerous canceled events and reduced capacity at many establishments due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Somerset and Pulaski County experienced another banner year in tourism revenue, according to the Somerset-Pulaski Economic Development Agency.     Ouachita Parish tourism leaders pledge $6M to build indoor sports facility

    MONROE, La. (KNOE) – West Monroe just got a major investment toward a multi-million dollar sports facility that’s been in the works. The Monroe-West Monroe Convention and Visitors Bureau pledged $6 million. The multi-use indoor sports center will cost about $18 million to build and it is expected to bring in up to $17 million a year, according to the CVB’s President and CEO Alana Cooper.
