The mega indoor sports complex will be close to the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Conference Center that opens Dec. 15 as part of the Younes hotel complex in south Kearney. West Monroe Mayor Staci Mitchell gave an overview of past, ongoing and future projects at the annual State of the City luncheon Tuesday, with the star of the show being the upcoming indoor sports complex.
