The FIFA World Cup can be equal parts exhilarating and heartbreaking. However, after several years of struggles, the United States Men’s National Team (USMNT) is finally enjoying some good luck in one of the world’s biggest sporting events.

Germany came into the tournament as one of the favorites to win it all with a veteran-laden squad that won the title in 2014, but disappointment struck again after the team failed to get out of the group stage in 2018.

The Norwalk River Valley Trail (NRVT) announces a 1-to-1 match grant from Outdoor Sports Center in Wilton for its year-end campaign, “Join our Journey”. They will match every donation made from Monday, December 14th to Dec. 20th, up to $5000. So with a donation of $50 donated (for example), the NRVT will receive $100 to continue to build more miles of trail.
