The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management plans to hire somebody who can recruit hunters and trappers, including women and people from minority communities. “We’re hiring! DEM’s Division of Fish and Wildlife (DFW) is looking for an innovative self-starter with a strong human dimensions background to coordinate the state’s efforts to recruit, retain and reactivate (R3) outdoor enthusiasts, specifically hunters, trappers and shooting sportsmen and women,” the DEM says in a Facebook post. West Monroe mayor talks indoor sports complex, 4% increase in revenue
West Monroe Mayor Staci Mitchell gave an overview of past, ongoing and future projects at the annual State of the City luncheon Tuesday, with the star of the show being the upcoming indoor sports complex. The complex, a joint project between the Monroe-West Monroe Convention and Visitors Bureau and the City of West Monroe, is set to be completed in early 2022.
