The players of State Water Sports Academy are performing brilliantly at 31st National Kayaking Canoeing Sprint (Boys and Girls Junior Sub Junior) Championship. State Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia congratulated the winners for their outstanding performance.
Here on Monday State Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia visited the Water Sports Center and congratulated the players on the brilliant performance of the medal winners of the National Kayaking Canoeing Sprint Championship. She reviewed water sports activities in detail at a meeting of officials and water sports sailing, rowing and kayaking canoeing instructors here.
Sports Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia while congratulating the medal winners said that the players of Water Sports Academy have given Madhya Pradesh the most gold medals by performing brilliantly. She encouraged the players to pursue a career in sports, citing the example of academy star players Harshita Tomar, Ram Milan Yadav, Ritika Dangi, Uma Chauhan, etc., saying that this passion to win the medal in national and international competitions should be sustained. She asked the silver medal winners to work more hard in the upcoming competitions and improve their game mode and try to win the gold medal with their outstanding performance.
The Sports Minister also discussed with the Sailing and Rowing players regarding the preparation of the upcoming competitions and encouraged them to set goals and win medals.Director Sports and Youth Welfare Pawan Jain, Joint Director B.S. Yadav and other officials, Water Sports Academy chief instructor GL. Yadav, Capt. Dalbir Singh, Capt. Pijush Baroi, Devendra Gupta, Shri Anil Sharma were present.
Sports Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia reviewed the preparations for the upcoming national and international competitions in a meeting held at the Water Sports Center. She gave necessary guidelines to the officials and sports coaches regarding the talent search and summer camp to be done for the entry of players into the academy. In the meeting, the Sports Minister gave guidance to the sports coaches regarding improving the performance of the players. She said that every effort should be made for the career of the players.
