PS Plus April 2022 reveal time and PS5 free games latest
With the official PS Plus April 2022 free games for PS4 and PS5 subscribers being revealed this week, here’s when you can expect Sony to announce its latest lineup.
We’re just days away from PlayStation Plus subscribers finding out what new games will be available to download next month.
Unlike other tech rivals, such as Microsoft, Sony follows a regular cycle when it comes to announcing new subscription releases. And this means we have a good idea of what date and time fans will find out more.
Here’s what we know so far about the upcoming reveals being planned by Sony for April 2022.
PS Plus April 2022 Free Games Reveal Time
Sony will announce its PS Plus April 2022 free games on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at around 4:30pm GMT. North American gamers eagerly awaiting the news will find out after 11am EDT. Sony has chosen different dates in the past to make big PlayStation Plus announcements, but these are usually held before the last Wednesday of the month and is not expected to happen this week. Another reveal for PlayStation Now is also expected this week, but this will be separate and could arrive on Monday, March 28, with the latest games going live on April 5.
Are There Any Confirmed PlayStation Plus Games?
At this time, Sony has not announced any early inclusions for PS Plus April 2022 free games, meaning we will have to wait for fresh leaks, or the final reveal. Some PlayStation loyalists think that MLB The Show 22 could be part of next month’s giveaway.
It’s possible that it could be a PS5 exclusive offering as the game does release on April 5th which coincides with the launch of next month’s freebies. Aside from its launch date, another reason people feel it could be included is that it will be joining Game Pass as a day one launch title. There are also reports that a new PS Plus subscription service more in line with Xbox Game Pass will be revealed next week. If this does happen, there is a good chance that new tiers will be added to the current service, providing access to PlayStation Now.
