The building where Boedy Appliance was located in Perham has been recently purchased by a new store coming to Perham.
Soon to be located on 200 W Main St., MN Tru North is in the process of remodeling the building after their purchase, according to a news release.
MN Tru North will sell supplies for water and winter sports. This includes water trampolines, towable tubes, stand-up paddle boards, wake boards, life jackets and more. Sold brands will include O’Brien, Airhead, WOW, HO Sports, Island Hopper, Lilly Pad, Maui Mat, Hyperlite, Swimways, FXR, Speedo, Retrospec and MN Tru North’s own brand clothing.
This new business is also a rental company that offers pontoons, personal watercraft, kayaks, bicycles and more. Online rental is now available on their website.
The owners, Becky and Shane Hoefs of Perham, wanted to open an outdoor sporting goods store for a few years, the news release said. They currently own Hillside Lifts, an outdoor tram company, that works on elevated lake properties around the country. They felt MN Tru North was a good fit to their current business.
MN Tru North will open late in May.
