(670 The Score) The seventh-seeded Bears’ game at the second-seeded New Orleans Saints in the wild-card round will be played Sunday, with kickoff set for 3:40 p.m. CT.
The game being held Sunday is significant because it means Saints star running back Alvin Kamara could be eligible to play after testing positive for COVID-19. Had the game been set for Saturday, Kamara wouldn’t have been eligible to play due to the NFL’s protocols.
The Bears-Saints game will air on CBS as well as Nickelodeon in a first-of-its-kind special broadcast geared toward kids and families.
The Nickelodeon broadcast will feature “one-of-a-kind kid-focused content and Nick-themed elements throughout, including a special halftime presentation, guest reporters and original on-field graphics, virtual filters and more,” according to an NFL.com article.
Noah Eagle will be the play-by-play announcers on Nickelodeon and will be joined by CBS Sports analyst Nate Burleson and Nick star Gabrielle Nevaeh Green as well, NFL.com reported.
